About the Blog

A little about Carol. She writes short stories, personal essays, and poetry. Her work has been published in literary journals and magazines and, occasionally, she wins a contest or two. As a writer in progress, she likes learning the craft and seeking the art.

In her blog, she explores writing and life and the many things writers ponder.

She likens the writing experience to climbing Mt. Whitney in California’s Sierra Nevada Range which she’s done twice. They both offer challenge, discovery, inspiration, perspiration, pain, perseverance, and a sense of accomplishment.

And a feeling of wonder.

She’s glad you stopped by on your journey.
