About the Blog

Welcome to my blog. What do I do in the real world? I write short stories, personal essays, and poetry – some of which have been published in literary journals and magazines. Occasionally, I win a contest or two.

Recently, I released a book of original poetry and art done in collaboration with artist Lynn Centeno called All Ways A Woman, available on Amazon.com

What’s currently underway? A collection of short stories with the tentative title No Diamonds, No Unicorns. Next, I’ll begin revision on a novel with the working title of The Spence Women.

As a writer in progress, I like learning the craft and seeking the art. As a blogger, I explore writing, life, and stuff we like to ponder. I always feel that writing offers challenge, discovery, inspiration, perspiration, pain, perseverance, a sense of accomplishment … and a feeling of wonder! How about you?!
