Thank you so much, Cindy. The story “Funny Man” came about one day in your class when you randomly distributed a picture from a magazine to each person.
Oh my goodness, how exciting and wonderful to have “Creek Songs” as an International Book Award. I feel doubly proud as you were able to present it at the DHS Library. Now I know for sure you need to come back to present it again. Don and I want to congratulate you on this very prestigious honor.
Thank you, Sally. Appreciate your congratulations. Notification of the award arrived on June 4 just as I was leaving for a Palm Springs Writers Guild meeting! I think I floated to the event! You know I’m always happy to be at the DHS Library!
